From the "Yuji Sakai Modeling Collection", a sofubi series produced and sculpted by Yuji Sakai, comes "Godzilla (2016) 4th Form Awakening Ver."! In 2017, the masterpiece "30cm Godzilla 2016" was announced as a new work by Yuji Sakai and released as a garage kit from Yuji Sakai Molding Workshop. In 2019, in response to the passionate requests from many fans, Mr. Sakai sculpted and released as a garage kit "Godzilla (2016) 4th Form Awakening Ver." from the "Godzilla Yuji Sakai Modeling Collection"! This time, using the same prototype as that garage kit, it will be released as a sofubi painted finished product. Sakai has beautifully recreated the powerful and famous scene in "Shin Godzilla" (released in 2016) in which the creature is attacked by an air attack during Operation Yashiori at the end of the story and emits heat rays from its mouth and the tip of its tail. The tail extends upward in a large arc, and the lower jaw opens wide to the left and right, a characteristic of the awakened state, and other details have been sculpted with such precision that the figure looks as if it were a scene from the play. We hope you will enjoy the overwhelming presence and beauty of his modeling. Once again, we have created a master mold by converting his cast prototype into WAX. The product is made only from the master mold, minimizing wear and tear caused by soft vinyl molding, and focusing on reproducing the details as much as possible.
