The Toyota Celica was released in 1970.
The Celica XX was released in 1978 as a premium model with a larger body and a powerful 6-cylinder engine, aimed at selling mainly in the North American market.

In the North American market, it was sold under the name Supra instead of Celica XX, and since 1986 it has also been sold under the name Supra in Japan.
Production of the Supra ended in 2002 with the 4th generation (2nd generation in Japan).
It had been eagerly awaited for a revival for a long time, but it became a reality in 2019, when it was released as a car jointly developed with BMW of Germany.
The engine is also mainly equipped with a 6-cylinder engine made by BMW.
This release reproduces the camera car specification of the real GR Supra base (powered up to over 500 horsepower) used by photographer Larry Chen to shoot drift vehicles.
